At Wicked Channel, we are a small team and we are fine with that. We focus on the quality, not the quantity. Of course, we end up with a goof amount of quantity as well though.

My ride has just been fun. It all started as co-owner of FearShop.com, which is the online retailer for metal and horror merchandise. We started this beast in 2002 and have been going strong since. We sell licensed horror movie and metal tees. That is basically it. We sell the same stuff that you pay $40 at concerts, but we charge less than half of that. That was the point of it. We wanted to pass the savings on to the people who keep the art alive – the fans.
Back in 2008, Frank and I decided to start the FearShop.com Horror Podcast. Shortly after that, we started the FearShop.com Metal Podcast. Along the way, we have done a ton of horror and metal related projects on one of our sites or on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Wicked Channel to me is family. The ride for me started in January 2011, when Mike emailed me one night and said you want to come aboard. I am not sure if he even hit send to that email, and I was already on the site posting 11 reviews, ha ha. 2011 was our baby steps, we were growing and if it was not for each and every one of you, that would never have happened, so take a bow we thank you so much. I hope we are the site that you guys and gals come to once and get hooked and tell all your friends about. Last year was a huge year for us, we got more and more visibility and more and more of you spread the word about us, and we covered such a wide variety of things that you guys and gals let it be known that you agreed or disagreed. Tonight to type this would not be possible if it was not for you, yes you, all of you.
I know this is supposed to be all about me, but I am you and you are me. At Wicked Channel we do not view you as a reader or hit, we think of you as part of this family and a friend. Thank all of you for giving me a voice and the chance to share with you my passion. This site is all about passion, if you leave this site knowing one thing from your visit, know that we do all this for you to be entertained.

I guess you could say I am the all knowing Queen of VHS and contributor for miscellaneous horror and true crime websites. I have had my own columns, podcasts, and articles since I was thirteen. I previously reviewed horror novels on Joe Bob Brigg’s website, hosted Texas Frightmare Weekend, debated horror alongside two professors at Lamar University, and I am the horror judge for the Lagniappe Film Festival. You can always find me at comic book and horror conventions across America or at your local flea market and antique stores, scouting for rare VHS tapes.
Since I was a little girl I have been heavily committed to the arts; ballet, tap, jazz, theater, choir, and painting. You name it. I’ve tried it. Sometimes I get to be in horror movies. Sometimes I get to interview my favorite actors and directors. Sometimes I bust my ass during roller derby. It has been a fun wave for me to ride but these are merely hobbies that I seldom take seriously. Writing is my true passion and my family comes first. I just believe in living life to the fullest and taking the world by its balls while screaming, “I can do and say whatever the fuck I want!”
When I am not busy writing for Wicked Channel, I am entertaining nerds alike at my fancy blog: http://yourfriendlyneighborhoodjewishgirl.blogspot.com/?zx=cce4e9a1d2372c00
