Let’s be honest, the horror genre right now needs a boost. This film last year was on the festival circuit and had people talking. I feel this film is not only the boost that horror needs, but it is the fun that most people crave out of horror.
The homage to 80’s horror was directed by Jonathan Straiton (Big Fish in Middlesex ) and co-written by Ron Bonk (She Kills, a sister film to NOSS), and stars Trey Harrison, Rebecca Kasek, Michael Merchant, Wayne Wilbur Johnson and Toni Ann Gambale. It has played major film festivals around the world while securing spots in many top 10 horror movies of 2016 lists.
SYNOPSIS — Five teenage friends set out for the beach on their Spring Break vacation. Good times are cut short when one of the group, Carrie, contracts a deadly sexual transmitted disease during a bathroom stop. When they stop for the night at an isolated motel, the real terror begins when the STD virus starts running rampant, turning those infected into the living dead. However, there’s more going on at the motel than meets the eye.
