Black Sabbath’s New Album Gets a June 2013 Release Date

Doom metal legends BLACK SABBATH have announced a June 2013 release date for their new album, entitled “13”. The exact date is still TBD. The line-up will be the original BLACK SABBATH line-up sans Bill Ward. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE drummer Brad Wilk will be handling drums. The album will be produced by 7 time Grammy winner Rick Rubin and will be released on Vertigo and Vertigo/Republic in the U.S. It has been 35 years since their last recorded studio album, 1978’s “Never Say Die.”

In advance of the album’s release, BLACK SABBATH will head to New Zealand, Australia and Japan for live performances
