The Walking Dead Season 3 DebutDid you know that the The Walking Dead Season 3 debut was last night? Yeah, I thought so because a whole bunch of people tuned in.

The Walking Dead broke its own record having the Season 3 series premier draw 10.9 million eyes upon its initial telecast, and 15 million overall throughout the night (DVR, etc.).

Variety said:

“The season-three premiere now reigns as the most-watched episode in series history as well as the biggest telecast for any drama series in basic cable history.”

AMC President Charlie Collie said:

“Thank you to the fans for making ‘The Walking Dead’ such a tremendous success. We are honored and humbled that television’s largest adult audience resides on AMC.
