I have watched this movie get shit on a lot in the last couple of weeks, so I decided to come to its defense… sort of. First off, I have seen movies much worse than Creature. At least, it (somewhat) kept me entertained. It was a decent popcorn flick. If you are looking for intense plotlines and exceptional acting, look somewhere else, but you have to know what you are getting into just by glancing at the poster of the film. Judging by that single photo, you should be able to realize that the crew did not go to great lengths to even dress up their creature properly.

Overall, I was in tune with the film. I was not exactly at the edge of my seat throughout my viewing of the film, but I was curious to see how it would all unravel at the end of the film. It could have been much worse than it was.

I think that Mehcad Brooks played a very solid role and Sid Haig is always entertaining to watch when he is cast in the right type of role.

Overall, you could do much worse than Creature, but as far as the time spent with the film, I do not feel like I wasted my time with it.
