Once again, thanks to the awesome Root Rot for his list. This list is taking me back a little. Sadly, Comedy movies are my cup of tea, but not because I am a sad little man that does not want to laugh. Rather, it is because the majority of Comedies out there are crap. Sorry, but it is true. Of course, the same could be said for horror movies.

Now, when you look at this list, who could possibly argue with these titles? First off, I say that it takes me back because most of these films are films that I grew up on. National Lampoon’s Vacation is one of the greatest movies ever made. Chevy Chase is one of my favorite comedic actors ever. He is hilarious. Kingpin may well be my favorite Comedy of all time. I do not laugh out loud much, but that is one of the films that I just howl to. Caddyshack is another one.

Now, on to Coming to America and Beverly Hills Cop. Eddie Murphy is an amazing comedian. Growing up, I would watch Delirious over and over again. Most people do not realize that I am actually a big stand-up fan as well. I love Eddie Murphy, George Carlin and so many others. Eddie Murphy had one of the greatest runs of any comedian during these years. Everything he touched was gold. Both of those movies are untouchable. Even the slapstick comedies on here, like Police Academy, etc. are absolute classics.
